Community of the Sisters of the Church

Thank you for all your love, prayers and cards for our celebration last Friday of our 20 years in Bristol. It was a lovely occasion.

Over 100 people came to the Eucharist at St Agnes Church and for the bring and share supper after in the church hall.

Peter Barnett, who invited us here preached and David Self, the priest who followed him presided. Dorothea gave a few words sharing memories such as  their arrival on the coldest day in December when they couldn't find their blankets!

One of the former working girls whose life was saved by Annaliese and others came and told how her life has been completely turned round through our ministry and that of the One25 project.

Another former client is now a professional photographer, so lots of pics in the pipe line! A new young woman who lives in a Christian community over the road is a journalist and will do a longer write up of it all for us.

The service was very special and lasted nearly 2 hours. Two of our elderly ladies left after the peace thinking it was over! They had rather a long wait for their supper!

10 of us Sisters were able to there. Caroline Price came and played the organ and Valerie was with us as well.

Huge amount to give thanks for!

Much love from us all Hilda Mary
